Legendary Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and 2009 Grammy Award winner, pianist/writer/singer Allen Toussaint comes to the Folly stage for what will surely be a rollicking night of music. Toussaint’s world class virtuosity is matched only by the incredible warmth he generates in concert with his old school Southern charm.

The Performing Arts Foundation of Kansas City d/b/a The Folly Theater is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. “Cyprus Avenue Live at the Folly” is made possible by arrangement with Bill Shapiro, longtime radio host of “Cyprus Avenue”, that airs on local NPR-affiliate station KCUR 89.3 FM from Noon–2:00 PM each Saturday.
